Modifiers (add-ons) are the options a customer picks for a product, such as ice-cream flavours, sugar level or extra toppings. This article shows how to create modifier sets and modifiers on Qashier POS, assign them to a category, select the same modifier more than once when selling, mark a modifier as sold out, and edit or delete modifiers.

Before you start
When you open Manage Products, enter your Terminal PIN if the POS asks for it.
If the POS then shows a list such as POS Products, QashierEats Products, Grabfood Products or Foodpanda Products, tap POS Products. Stores without online ordering go straight to the product screen.
If the POS shows "Please manage products on HQ", your products are managed in QashierHQ. Use How to Create Modifier Sets and Modifiers in QashierHQ instead.
Need more control? On the POS a modifier set only has a name, and modifiers can be assigned to a whole category only. To set a minimum or maximum number of choices, allow the same modifier to be picked more than once, or assign modifiers to a single product, use QashierHQ. Create a modifier set and its modifiers
A modifier always belongs to a modifier set, so create the set first.
On the POS home screen, tap the ☰ icon at the top right.
Tap Manage Products.
Enter your Terminal PIN if asked.
Tap the + button at the top right of the page.
Tap Modifiers.
Tap + Add new modifier set.
Enter the Modifier Set Name, for example Ice Cream Flavours, and tap Add. The new set appears at the top of the list.
Under the set, tap + Add new modifier. If you cannot see it, tap the set name to expand the set.
Fill in the modifier:
Modifier Name (required), for example Chocolate.
Price (optional): the extra amount added on top of the product price. Leave it at 0 for no extra charge.
Modifier Set Name: the set this modifier belongs to.
Mark as sold out: tick this to make the modifier unavailable for now. It stays on the screen but cannot be selected (see below).
Singapore only: BCRS Eligible. Tick this if the modifier adds a pre-packaged drink covered by the Beverage Container Return Scheme; the POS then adds the deposit at checkout. See [Singapore] Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) Deposit in Qashier.
Tap Confirm. Repeat from step 8 for each modifier in the set.

Assign the modifier set to a category
Modifiers appear on the POS only after you assign them. On the POS you assign them to a category; every product in that category then offers them.
On the POS home screen, tap the ☰ icon at the top right.
Tap Manage Products and enter your Terminal PIN if asked.
Tap the category you want to add modifiers to.
Tap Assign Modifiers.
Tap each modifier you want on this category so that it is highlighted. Modifiers already assigned to the category are highlighted; tap one again to remove it.
Tap Confirm. Only the highlighted modifiers stay assigned to the category.

Select the same modifier more than once
Example: a customer orders "Ice Cream 3 Flavours" with 1 × Chocolate and 2 × Pistachio.
In POS & Payment, tap the product (Ice Cream 3 Flavours).
Tap Chocolate once. It is selected with a count of 1x.
Tap Pistachio once, then tap it again. The count on the tile changes to 2x.
To lower a count or remove a modifier, tap the orange minus (−) strip on the left of its tile.
Tap Add or Add & Close to add the item to the order.
Note: tapping a selected modifier again adds one more only if the modifier set has Allow to select same modifier more than once ticked in QashierHQ. If it is not ticked, the second tap does nothing. Mark a modifier as sold out
On the POS home screen, tap the ☰ icon, then Manage Products, and enter your Terminal PIN if asked.
Tap the + button at the top right, then Modifiers.
Tap the pencil icon next to the modifier.
Tick Mark as sold out.
Tap Confirm.
What you should see: in POS & Payment, the modifier shows a Sold Out badge, is greyed out and cannot be selected until you untick the box. To mark a whole modifier set as sold out, use QashierHQ (see the article linked above).
Edit or delete a modifier or modifier set
To edit, tap the pencil icon next to the modifier or the set, make your changes and tap Confirm (for a modifier) or Edit (for a modifier set).
To delete a modifier, tap its pencil icon, tap Delete, then Confirm.
To delete a modifier set, tap its pencil icon, tap Delete, type the word delete in the box, then tap Confirm. Warning: this deletes every modifier in the set and cannot be undone. If you only want to stop selling it for a while, use Mark as sold out instead.
