Summary: Use Qashier POS to rename items on your QashierEats online menu, mark items or modifiers as sold out, or close your QashierEats store for the rest of the day.
Applies to: Singapore and Malaysia. Qashier POS, for stores with QashierEats enabled. If your POS has a Terminal PIN, you need it to open Manage Products.
Before you start
QashierEats must be enabled for your store. See Getting Started with QashierEats Online Ordering in QashierHQ.
Your QashierEats menu is separate from your POS menu. Changes you make under QashierEats Products apply only to your QashierEats online menu. They do not change your POS products.
On Qashier POS you can change an item's name, mark it as sold out, tick BCRS Eligible (Singapore only) or delete it. To change the price, description, photo or display order, use QashierHQ. See How to Edit Your QashierEats Menu in QashierHQ.
Edit a QashierEats item or mark it as sold out
On the Qashier POS home screen, tap the ☰ icon at the top right.
Tap Manage Products.
If your POS has a Terminal PIN, enter it and tap Confirm.
Tap QashierEats Products. The Edit Online Item screen opens.
Tap the category the item belongs to.
Tap the item.
In the pop-up, do any of the following:
Change the name under Item Name.
Tick Mark as sold out to show the item as sold out to your customers. Untick it when the item is available again.
Singapore only: tick BCRS Eligible if the item carries the BCRS deposit. The deposit is added automatically when the item is checked out.
Tap Delete to remove the item from your QashierEats menu, then tap Yes. This cannot be undone.
Tap Confirm Edit.
Mark a modifier as sold out
On the Edit Online Item screen, tap Modifier at the top.
Tap the modifier.
Tick Mark as sold out, or change the name under Modifier Name.
Tap Confirm Edit.
Close your QashierEats store for today
On the Edit Online Item screen, turn on the Close Shop toggle at the top.
Tap Yes to confirm. Your QashierEats online store is closed for the current day.
To reopen it on the same day, turn the Close Shop toggle off and tap Yes.
Rename a category
On the Edit Online Item screen, press and hold the category.
Tap the edit (pencil) icon next to the category name.
Enter the new name and tap OK. Do not use this to create a new category.
In the same panel you can also tap a colour to change the category's colour.
What you should see
After Confirm Edit, the POS shows Item updated. The change appears on your QashierEats online menu.
After closing your store, the POS shows Closed shop for today. After reopening it, the POS shows Open shop for today.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
Manage Products opens your POS products and there is no QashierEats Products option | QashierEats is not enabled for your store | Contact support to have QashierEats enabled. |
