Summary: If an order was marked as done by mistake, you can recall it on the Qashier KDS to bring it back to the active screen.
Applies to: All markets · Qashier POS on a display tablet · Kitchen Display System (KDS) add-on. The same steps work on the Waiter Display (WDS).
Before you start
Open the kitchen display first. See How to Open and Exit the Kitchen Display (KDS) on Qashier POS.
Recall a completed order
Make sure the Order Summary sidebar on the right of the screen is open. If it is collapsed, tap the Order Summary title to open it.
Tap Completed orders at the bottom of the sidebar. The screen background turns green and VIEWING COMPLETED ORDERS appears at the bottom left.
Find the order. If there are many orders, use the ◀ and ▶ buttons at the top of the screen to page through them.
Tap Recall on the order tile.
In the Confirmation pop-up, "Are you sure you want to mark this as undone?", tap Confirm.
Tap Incomplete orders to go back to the active orders.
What you should see
The recalled order is back on the active screen with your other open orders, and its items appear again in the Order Summary totals.
If something goes wrong
Symptom | Cause | Fix |
You cannot see Completed orders | The Order Summary sidebar is collapsed | Tap the Order Summary title to open the sidebar. |
Too many ongoing orders appears when you tap Recall | The active screen already holds the maximum number of open orders | Mark at least one active order as done, then tap Recall again. |
The order you want is not in Completed orders | The KDS shows recent orders only, so an older order may no longer be listed | Check the ◀ and ▶ pages. If the order is not there, it can no longer be recalled on the KDS. |
