Troubleshooting Sticker Printer

This guide provides two methods to reset a sticker printer to its factory default settings: Soft Reset and Software Reset.

Note: The soft reset is meant to refresh the printer and will not remove any setting made to the sticker printer.

Soft Reset

Follow these steps to soft reset the Sticker printer:

  1. Start by switching OFF the sticker printer.

  2. Find the feed button located on the front of the sticker printer.

Hold down the feed button and keep it pressed for steps 3 and 4:

3. Turn ON the Sticker Printer (while still holding the feed button down), you will see a red light

4. Continue holding down the feed button. Observe the red light goes off, and the blue light lights up with a beep sound

5. Release the feed button when you hear the beep sound and see the blue light.

6. Wait a few seconds, and a configuration chit will be printed, showing the printers factory default settings. This confirms that the reset was successful.

Reset using Software

This method can be used if the soft reset procedure doesn't work. A Windows PC is required to perform this reset with the Printer Utility application installed.

Steps: Load the printer utility, select Printer Function tab, click Factory Default button. The printer will beep and the blue light will flicker. Click on Printer Configuration, select Wifi Setup and click Load to verify network settings. Once complete, restart the printer.

Tax-Inclusive Sticker Prices

You can now configure tax-inclusive pricing for your sticker products. This feature ensures accurate cost calculations for regions where prices are displayed with tax already included.

To set tax-inclusive prices:

  1. Navigate to product settings in your POS system

  2. Select the sticker product to configure

  3. Enable the Tax-Inclusive Pricing option

  4. Enter the total price including tax

  5. The system automatically calculates and displays base price and tax separately

  6. Save your settings

This ensures transparency and accurate reporting of tax amounts for your sticker products.
