Get notified via different ways when your product stock quantity falls below the low stock threshold.

Feature 1 - Email Notification

Feature overview

This allows you to receive an email whenever the stock quantity reaches the low stock threshold.

Key benefits

  • Be notified via email instead of having to check the POS or HQ regularly on whether stock quantities are low.

How to set up?

  • Go to HQ and select the Inventory management tab

  • Toggle on the 'low stock alert' button

How to use?

When the low stock alert toggle is turned on, here are the following conditions which will trigger the email notification to be sent out.

  1. When the in-stock amount is higher than the low stock threshold amount and 1 or more item is deducted, causing it to hit the low stock threshold amount

Feature 2 - Alert pop up on POS

Feature overview

This allows you to be notified via the POS when adding a product whose stock quantity is below the low stock threshold in the Point of Sale page.

Key benefits

  • Be notified directly via the POS

How to set up?

Do ensure the following:

  • The 'track inventory' tickbox is checked for the product

  • Low Stock threshold is set for the product

How to use?

When the stock has fallen below the low stock count threshold, the pop up will then appear on POS.

The stock quantity number will also be displayed beside the product.

Feature 3 - Low Stock alert on HQ

Feature overview

This allows you to clearly distinguish products which have fallen below the low stock threshold vs those which have not.

Key benefits

  • Able to clearly see an overview of the status of all products which inventory is tracked

How to set up?

  • Go to product management tab and tick the ' track inventory' checkbox for products for which you want to track the inventory.

  • Set the low stock threshold of items by clicking on the product in inventory management.

  • Note: by default, the number is 0 where it does not qualify as being set.

How to use?

  • Click on ‘Inventory Management’ tab on HQ

  • For products that have fallen below the low stock threshold on hq, the rows will be highlighted in red

  • When the ‘Show Low Stock Items’ toggled is turned on, only items that have fallen below the low stock threshold will be displayed.
