Introduction
Combo refers to a set of items that is grouped together, which is usually sold at a cheaper rate than if the items were to be bought on their own.
Eg: A combo meal sold by Macdonalds consisting of Mcspicy, french fries and coke zero.
Examples of Use Cases
F&B
Bundling of food and drinks together to form a set meal.
Eg: Chicken Burger + fries + coke
Selection of ice cream flavours
Eg: 1st scoop: Chocolate, 2nd scoop: Mint
Beauty
Want to assign one staff to each product for ease of commission calculation
Eg: Hair Salon - Cut + Wash
Retail
Eg: Sports Store - Badminton Racquet + String + Grip
Important Details
An additional price can be set for each product listed in the combo, for items that warrants a premium. Eg: Mains set: $10 . Beef Steak has an additional price of +$2.00
Combos are essentially borrowing existing products from other categories.
As such, product name, price, cost, points, modifiers, printer selection, order chit, KDS etc for products in combos will still follow what is being set on a product level
Deduction of stock in Inventory Management for combos is still via the current existing product.

How to use
Inform our friendly account managers via the live chat that you want to use the combos feature.
Creating a combo category on HQ
Go to product management page and click on the '+' button beside category

Your combo category will now appear in your list of categories

Creating a combo on HQ
Click on the combos category that you have created, followed by the ‘ADD COMBO’ button

Proceed to fill in the required information such as the combo name, combo price and add the relevant sections you require

Click on ‘ADD/EDIT PRODUCT’ to add the required products and additional price for each section

Click ‘CONFIRM’ to complete the creation of the combo
Selecting a combo on POS
Click on a combo category and select a combo

Select a product from each section, as well as the relevant modifiers, staff and key in notes, if any.
Once the criteria for each section has been fufilled, the product name will be highlighted in green.
At this point, you are not able to select ‘ADD’ or ‘ADD & CLOSE’ yet.

Once you have selected a product from each section and have fulfilled the necessary criteria, you can proceed to input the discount, quantity or go ahead to add/add and close the product.

The combo name will then appear in the order list

You can click on the arrow button to expand it to see its contents

Display of combos, products and modifiers quantity

The display of the quantity is unique to it’s own part.
Using the above example, what this means is that there are two burger combos added to the order list, of which each combo consist of:
1 x burger, with 1 x cheese modifier and 2x modifier 1
1 x fries
1 x coke zero
Hence in total, there are 2 x burgers, 2 x cheese modifier, 4 x modifier 1, 2 x fries and 2 x coke zero.
Viewing combos on order chit
Products in the combo will follow the tab index or printer index setting that has been set

Viewing combos on receipt
The combo name and the products selected will appear in the receipt.

Viewing combos in transaction records
The combo name and the products selected will appear in the transaction record

Viewing combos in reports
Sales of the combos can be seen in the sales by combos table

Sales of products in combos will be added to the relevant tables (sales by product etc). When the product is clicked in the sales by product table, it will open a pop up to show the breakdown of ala carte sales and combo sales
