How To Create a Promotion Bucket in QashierHQ

Offer your customers a deal they can't refuse!

To create a promotion bucket:

  1. Go to QashierHQ

  2. Click on the drop-down list under Product Management

  3. Select Product Management

  4. Click on the PROMOTION BUCKET button at the right-hand side of the page

  5. Click on ADD PROMOTION BUCKET

  6. Enter the Bucket Name

  7. Enter the Trigger Quantity and Discount Dollar Amount

    1. Trigger Quantity

      refers to the specific quantity of a product or group of products that needs to be reached in order for the promotion to be applied

    2. Discount Dollar Amount

      refers to the specific monetary reduction applied to the price of the product or group of products as part of a promotional offer

      How the calculation works:

  8. Click on + ADD/EDIT ITEMS button

  9. Click the items from the Excluded list that you would like to include in the promotion

  10. The selected items will be reflected in the Included list

  11. Click on the CONFIRM button on the right-hand corner of the page

  12. Click OK to proceed

  13. Click on SAVE at the top right-hand corner of the page to save your promotion bucket

For instance, let's consider an item with a price of $19.90

1. Buy 1 get 1 free

  • Trigger Quantity: 2

  • Discount dollar amount ($): $19.90

2. Buy 1 get 2nd item 10% off

  • Trigger Quantity: 2

  • Discount dollar amount ($): $1.99
