Customer Payment Process on Your WooCommerce Site (Qashier Pay)

This guide explains how your customers can complete their purchases using Qashier Pay on your WooCommerce store. Share this article with your customers so they know what to expect during checkout.

Overview

When customers check out on your WooCommerce site, they can choose Qashier Pay as their payment method.
Qashier securely processes the payment, and all transaction details are recorded in both:

  • WooCommerce (for your store records)

  • Qashier HQ (for payment reconciliation)

Customer Payment Steps

Step 1: Proceed to Checkout

Customers add their products to the cart and go to the Checkout page.

Step 2: Select Qashier Pay as the Payment Method

  1. On the checkout page, scroll to the Payment Method section.

  2. Select Qashier Pay.

  3. Click Pay via Qashier Pay to continue.

Step 3: Redirected to Qashier Payment Gateway

Customers will be redirected to Qashier’s secure payment page, showing:

  • Order Summary – Total amount to pay

  • Payment Options – Based on what you’ve enabled in Qashier HQ

Step 4: Enter Payment Details

  1. Choose a Payment Method (e.g., card, FPX, e-wallet).

  2. Enter card information (if paying by card):

    • Card Number

    • Cardholder Name

    • Expiry Date (Month/Year)

    • CVV (3-4 digit security code)

Step 5: Complete Payment

  1. Click Continue to Payment.

  2. Customers may be asked to verify their transaction (3-D Secure), for example:

    • Entering an OTP or password

    • Approving via biometric or push notification

  3. Once verified, Qashier will process the payment securely.

Step 6: Receive Confirmation

After successful payment, customers will:

  • See a Payment Confirmation page (based on your WooCommerce theme).

  • Their order status will change to Completed (or equivalent).


For Merchants: How to Track Payments

You can view all Qashier Pay transactions in Qashier HQ.

  1. Log in to Qashier HQ.

  2. Go to Transactions.

  3. Review each payment’s details, including:

    • Date of payment

    • Receipt number

    • Total amount

    • Payment method

    • Last 4 digits of the customer’s card

    • Additional transaction notes


⚠️ Common Issues & Quick Fixes

1. Payment Failed

Ask your customer to:

  • Recheck their card details (number, expiry, CVV)

  • Ensure the card is active and has sufficient funds

  • Try another payment method

  • Contact their bank if the card is declined


2. Payment Pending

Ask your customer to:

  • Wait up to 24 hours for payment confirmation

  • Contact your store’s support if it remains pending
